Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Autumn Thunder – It’s OVR’s perfect combination for the first ever fall Drivers’ Education at the Lexington, Ohio track on Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18, 2009.
Following the disappointment of the of the August Bluegrass Drivers’ Education cancellation, go now to ClubRegistration.net and register for the Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18 Drivers’ Education. On Friday, October 17, OVR invites advanced drivers to experience an open track for car time.
The 2.4-mile long, 15-turn Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has fiercely challenged the mettle of the world’s top drivers for more than four decades. OVR’s Leadership Team has organized your turn to experience what makes this permanent road course so exciting.
Gary Nichols worked with the Mid-Ohio Management Team to negotiate the date. Dan Jauch continues to head Safety, Mary Louise Bauman volunteered for Registration and Jerry Wolf agreed to “supervise” the Instructors.
Ninety five rooms at Quality Inn, Bellville, Ohio, are reserved with OVR’s special rates of $89 for a double queen and for a $99 for king. Call 419-886-7000 before October 15, 2009 [first come, first serve, the hotel sells out frequently] to secure your lodging.
Event registration and car tech begins on Friday, October 17 at 5:00 pm at the Quality Inn parking lot.
