In addition to having a great evening the Eastern Buckeye Region was able to help a good cause. Including the amount the club provided for each person attending, and the generous donations from our members, we were able to raise over $1,000 and collect just under 100 pounds of food for the Akron Canton food bank. This helped provide over 4,000 meals to those in need. Thanks again to everyone who attended.

PROCEEDS BENEFIT AKRON/CANTON FOODBANK!
Come help us kick-off summer with a great 2-part event to benefit a great cause. Breakfast is FREE and we will be accepting monetary donations for the Foodbank. We can serve up to 180 people, so bring your family and friends and help us raise as much money as possible for the less fortunate.
We will have a separate parking area for our Porsches so you can enjoy a mini car show with your meal.
At around 10:15 we will drive together to the MAPS Air Museum at 2260 International Parkway,North Canton, Ohio 44720 for a 10:30 tour. This wonderful Museum restores and displays military aircraft and other items and is a great experience for all ages! They will also be allowing us to park our Porsches on the tarmac near the planes, so be sure to bring your camera.
We encourage any members who can’t make it to both events to join us for one or the other. We can offer FREE breakfast for up to 180 and the museum will have plenty of guides on hand, so feel free to bring the whole gang!

EBR Makes Annual Donation to Hartville Charity
Since 2004, EBR has been using the parking lot at the Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market to host monthly autocrosses. Since then EBR has made an annual donation to Marion Coblentz, who manages the Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market. Marion is involved with a number of charities and each year chooses which one he would like the money to go to. This year, EBR’s donation was $1000. Pictured below are EBR board members Pat Hartline and Walt Soduk presenting the check to Marion.
